  • How does home care work?

    Elderly people can age in place in their own homes with the help of paid caregivers who have been trained and certified by the State of Washington PA in daily living assistance.

  • Does Remab Home Care Services exclusively offer services to clients in their homes?

    In addition to providing care in the home, Remab Home Care Services also offers care in nursing homes, senior centers, assisted living homes, and rehabilitation institutions.

  • Is Remab Home Care Services bonded and insured?

    For the protection of our clients, every caregiver at Remab Home Care Services is bonded and insured. When work-related injuries do occur, we provide worker's compensation as part of our complete responsibility for the caregivers on our staff.

  • What hours does Remab Home Care Services offer?

    In order to meet the demands of our clients, Remab Home Care Services provides services ranging from an hour per day to live-in care available round-the-clock.

  • Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

    There are no long-term contracts with Remab Home Care Services. Clients are just required to sign a form granting Remab Home Care Services authorization to look after them or a loved one.

  • Does Remab Home Care Services take insurance?

    Long-term care insurance and cash payments are both accepted by Remab Home Care Services. Remab Home Care Services is not a provider for Medicare.

  • What happens if my assistant is ill or away?

    If your normal caregiver is ever unavailable, Remab Home Care Services will send a backup assistant or companion.

  • How do I pay my caregiver?

    The caregiver is hired and compensated by Remab Home Care Services. There is zero chance of a financial transaction between the caregiver and the client.

  • Does Remab Home Care Services run background checks on criminal history?

    A caregiver cannot be hired by Remab Home Care Services until their criminal background check has been finished and is unambiguous. All new hires are subject to reference checks and driver's license checks by Remab Home Care Services.

  • Do the nurses at Remab Home Care Services offer any additional nursing care?

    The registered nurses at Remab Home Care Services may serve as the client's medical care liaison since we adhere to a Transitional Care Model, which includes giving weekly blood pressure checks, feeding tubes, colostomy bags, medication management, and much more. In order to help the client communicate their needs, our nurses are also able to plan and attend medical appointments.
